The Tegchen Legshey Ling monastery is a school whose primary purpose is to teach nuns the Philosophies of Buddha, Tibetan debating. It is located at Boudha Kathmandu, which is 12 kilometers from VIN office, Balaju, and 9 km from Thamel. The monastery is a 15 minute walk from the Bouddhanath Stupa. Kasang Lama is the head Monk of the Monastery. The Guru/ Rimpoche is available half of the year in the nunnery, he lives in Canada the rest. There are 8 nuns in the Nunnery, the youngest is 6 and oldest is 21 years and others are 9, 12 and 15 years.(26/10/18) They are mostly from Dolpa, a very remote part of Nepal. The Nuns are friendly for celebrating religious poojas who understand very little English but want to learn more. The nunnery has their own curriculum in which English is also included. The volunteer should prepare the class content to teach English to the nuns.
